Bullying Prevention Package
More news about the topic
Bullying is an important public health issue. Whether kids bully each other in person or cyberbully using electronic technology, the results of this aggressive behaviour have serious, lasting effects. Preventing bullying in all its forms can improve the physical and mental health and the safety and well-being of children and their families.
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has published a bullying prevention package. This resource has two main tools: the Bullying Prevention Capacity Assessment, and the Bullying Prevention Change Package of evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies. Together these tools enable state health departments to assess their current capacity to address bullying and determine any gaps and needs.
