Injuries and violence are a major public health burden across the globe. The 13th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion (Safety 2018) brought together over 1000 of the world's leading researchers, practitioners, policy-makers and activists to share information and experiences and to discuss solutions. Conference major theme was “Advancing injury and violence prevention towards SDGs”
The participants of the 13 th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion, held during 5-7 November 2018 in Bangkok, jointly adopted the Bangkok statement and call for stronger and better coordinated actions of whole-of-government and whole-of-society to prevent and minimize the impact of injuries and violence.
