Call for Posters: Conference Crime and Punishment
More news about the topic
The Institute for Criminology of Heidelberg University and SRH Hochschule Heidelberg, cooperating with Polotsk State University, Republic of Belarus, will host an international criminological conference, titled “Crime and Punishment”, from March 4th to 6th, 2020.
The conference’s main goal is to connect the strongly separate spheres of criminological research in Eastern and Western Europe, offering the attendees insights into research culture, research projects and their results as well as an opportunity for academic networking beyond the usual geographical scope.
Interested researchers are kindly invited to participate in a poster session that will take place at the conference location – young researchers are especially encouraged. The session provides an opportunity to present ongoing and early-stage work to an international audience and receive professional feedback.
Posters on any criminological research project can be accepted. The main conference focuses on seven fields: sanctions and measures, effects of punishment, domestic violence, cybercrime, gender and crime, expert witness testimony, and human rights.
Please contact crime.punishment@krimi.uni-heidelberg.de by September 30th to save your spot and get instructions on layout requirements.
