Global Peace Index 2020 Launch Webinar

This year the Global Peace Index (GPI) outlines key 2020 highlights, global rankings, regional overviews as well as country improvements and deterioration. The research also focuses on trends, from 2008 until 2019. This year there are three new topics that the GPI will cover, with a focus on the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Positive Peace offers a framework for interpreting the pandemic and assessing the interconnectedness between events, responses, perceptions and beliefs. Positive Peace can not only help society understand what is happening now, but can also shine a light on how to best prepare society for future shocks.
