Global A virtual conference bringing together OC scholars in the absence of meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea is to accommodate a time-bound, non-travelling global audience in a 24-hour conference to discuss Global Organised Crime like trafficking, smuggling, counterfeiting, corruption, illicit markets, emerging crimes, and policy issues. The event is open to academics, researchers, practitioners, students.

24 consecutive hours, beginning November 10, 2020 (Nov. 11 in Asia and Oceania).

Sessions will begin every 90 minutes for 24 hours in 5 different innovative formats. All sessions are 75 minutes in length and there will be no webinar “lectures”. Opportunities for audience interaction maximized and there will be a lot of space for questions and discussion.

The conference is co-sponsored and organised by CIROC, IASOC, ECPR-SGOC, GI-TOC.
