The purpose of this paper is to equip law enforcement teams, municipalities or other government officials with the information they need in the fight against the use of straw men from the administrative approach perspective. The paper largely mirrors the journey in the Netherlands in the fight against straw men within property crimes. Although described from a Dutch perspective, the lessons are a source of inspiration for all.
