#AMOS – Alliance Against Online Antisemitism

Nordic Safe Cities and partners in Common Consultancy, Analyse & Tal and the Jewish Informationscenter have conducted a major new study from May 2021-May 2023 which shows that every tenth comment about Jews on Facebook in Denmark is antisemitic. The study shows that prejudice, hatred and conspiracy theories against Jews are not limited to extremist circles, but have become a common part of the digital public conversation.

The conclusion is clear: when discussions involve Jews, antisemitism is often lurking underneath. Antisemitism remains a normalized aspect of public discourse in Denmark. It is not confined to the past but exists in everyday conversations.
