Event: Realising Security Innovation - Empowering impactful security R&I outputs
More news about the topic
Realising Security Innovation is a two-day event for security practitioners, researchers and policymakers, and is the inaugural Symposium of the Horizon Europe-funded Engage2innovate (E2i) project.
The Symposium includes presentations, discussions and — on day 2 — a DesignLab workshop. This interactive group session will explore the potential for human-centred social innovation as an enabler of security solutions, and collaboratively develop conceptual models that might describe this.
Realising Security Innovation will open with a keynote address from Nicolas Bessot, Head of Innovation and Security Research Unit at the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission. Together, the Symposium will critically explore what constitutes real security innovation and discuss different approaches to fostering the implementation of R&I project outputs.
The event will take place in Brussels on June, 19th and 20th. Registration is FREE but spaces are limited.
Directions to the venue and details of nearby hotels will be sent with confirmation of your booking.
