Apostolos Skrekas
He was assigned to his corps in 2008.
He works as an officer to the Operational Planning, Partnerships and Exercises Department of the Joint Operations & Crisis Management Coordination Center. Also he is a member of the National Exercise Planning Team and a Hostage and Crisis Negotiator.
He is a national expert in the fields of security and crisis management, representing the country in relevant European networks and EU working groups, as well as a European Protective Security Advisor (EU PSA) to the European Commission.
During the period 2021-2022, he was the Press Spokesman of the Hellenic Police. He is an instructor to the Hellenic Police Academy, while he belongs to the committee for planning and evaluating research activities of the Hellenic Police.
He holds a Master's Degree in "Media Communication and Rhetoric" from Panteion University (2018) and is a graduate of the Department of Administrative Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
